Ariel tribute

A very quick (about half an hour) kind of tribute to my first serious drawing I did when I was 7. One day I decided to literally trace Ariel from the book cover about Disney’s “Little Mermaid” (and yes, it was with the very same weird-hands-pose). I redrew the picture hundreds of times until I was able to recreate it exactly from imagination. Then I started adding my own elements like new hair styles, new clothes, changed positions, face expressions… and you can easily guess where it led me!
That’s why I’ll always have these special feelings towards Ariel and Disney animations in general, because thanks to them I can do what I’m doing now. ^^
Ah, I got sentimental. :P It’s just a quick picture after all!

Oh I know I haven’t been posting anything for like AGES, but don’t worry folks, I’m still alive and will flood you with new stuff hopefully soon xD So for now have a sketch of a to-be-finished kind of illustration and a concept drawing of one of its characters! ^^
